As the Khalifa Award delegation concludes its duties in Morocco

“Khalifa Award” seeks to strengthen its partnership with educational and academic institutions in Morocco

The delegation of the Khalifa Award for Education engaged in discussions regarding potential collaborative efforts with various educational and academic institutions during its recent official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, which concluded yesterday. During this visit, the delegation conducted meetings with Nisreen Ibn Abduljalil, Director General of the Moroccan Foundation for the Promotion of Early Childhood Education. The delegation had the opportunity to engage with Mr. Al-Habib Al-Maliki, who serves as the President of the Supreme Council for Education, Training and Scientific Research, as well as the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Environment. This foundation is known for presenting one of the Kingdom’s esteemed educational accolades, the Environmental Education Award. Additionally, the delegation visited the Excellence High School in Rabat.

The delegation included Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Khalifa Award for Education, Amal Al-Afifi, Secretary-General of the Award, Dr. Suad Al-Suwaidi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Award, Dr. Khalid Al-Abri, a member of the Executive Committee of the Award, and Hamid Ibrahim, a member of the Executive Committee of the Award.

The members of the delegation met with these parties to discuss ways to improve their academic and educational collaboration, share knowledge and experiences to help the education system excel, introduce the Award’s purpose and message, go over the fields available for the 18th session (2024–2025), and go over the criteria and procedures for nominating each field and category.
