The Khalifa Award for Education, one of the institutions upholding the humanitarian legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed, is participating in the 2025 Abu Dhabi International Book Fair at the ADNEC Exhibition Center with a distinguished pavilion. The pavilion aims to introduce the Award’s mission, objectives, and its role in promoting a culture of excellence in the educational field at local, regional, and international levels.
Humaid Al-Houti, Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education, emphasized this participation, noting that the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is a prominent cultural and intellectual event in the UAE and the region. It attracts global participants from various parts of the world, making the Award’s presence at the fair a platform to showcase its mission and the categories it offers. In its current 2025 session, the Award includes 10 fields distributed across 17 categories, covering various aspects of the educational process. These fields include: The Distinguished Educational Personality granted to personalities who have made outstanding contributions to the educational process at the local and Arab levels, General Education (the category of creative teacher locally and in the Arab region and the category of institutional educational performance), Education and Community Service (the category of institutions, and the category Distinguished Emirati Families), People of Determination (Individuals Category, Institutions and Centers Category), The Field of Creativity in the Arabic Language Teaching (Distinguished Teacher Category, Distinguished University Professor Category Locally and regionally), Higher Education (Distinguished University Professor Category), and the Field of Educational Research (Research Category Educational), Educational Authorship for Children (educational innovations category, children’s literature studies research category), and the field of Educational Projects and Programs (individuals category, institutions category, and students category). The field of the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning, and this field offers two categories: Best Research and Studies, Best Programs, Curricula, Teaching methodologies, and Practices.
Humaid Al-Houti pointed out the significance of the Award’s presence, noting that the exhibition also attracts an audience from various parts of the world. This provides an opportunity to engage with diverse segments of the public and introduce them to the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning Field, with its two categories.
This Award is considered the first of its kind globally and is dedicated to this vital sector, which receives great attention from wise leadership. The goal is to provide a supportive environment that nurtures this group through a comprehensive system of legislation, laws, and strategies that ensure their healthy, social, and cultural development, preparing them to contribute actively to the progress of national development.
Al-Houti also noted that the Award’s distinguished pavilion included direct meetings with interested parties such as educators, academics, and other specialists related to the Award’s mission, goals, and offered categories. Specialists from the Award team were present to provide information and respond to public inquiries regarding the application process, criteria, and specific regulations for each field.
