“Khalifa Award”: Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is a global platform for cultural creativity

The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education participated in the activities of the 33rd session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024 where the pavilion of the General Secretariat of the Award represented a comprehensive educational and academic platform. The pavilion achieved highlighting The Award’s mission, goals, programs and proposed fields,(10 fields distributed over 17 categories) that attract candidates from within the UAE, Arab region and the world. The award’s team presented a comprehensive framework of consolidating a culture of excellence and encouraging and motivating those working in the education sector to launch cultural and educational initiatives and projects that refine students’ personalities and enhance their skills.
Amal Al-Afeefi, Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education, commended the Award’s participation in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, as this event is precisely specialized in all facets of education. The book fair attracted more than 90 nations from various parts of the world, which makes it a prominent cultural platform that reflects the status of the capital Abu Dhabi and its pioneering role in spreading culture and creativity worldwide.
Al-Afeefi explained that the participation of the General Secretariat of the Award in this prominent cultural event enhances the role of the Award and its cultural, educational and educational message, as the exhibition witnesses the largest participation of the Republic of China through 9 pavilions and 80 Chinese publishing houses as well as 15 cultural, professional and educational events presented by China during the exhibition. This prominent Chinese presence facilitates communication between the various elements of the educational process and interaction between potential candidates and the Khalifa Award winners of previous sessions. Additionally, the selection of the Arab Republic of Egypt as the focus country embodies the historical relations that binds UAe and Egypt.
The Secretary-General of the Award explained that the Award’s pavilion this year presented various cultural, pedagogical and educational activities, including displaying publications of winning works in various previous sessions, as well as the presence of winners in previous sessions of the Award presenting their experiences to exhibition-goers about the culture of excellence and its role in building the individual’s personality and consolidating societal awareness. Al-Afeefi pointed out The pavilion allocated time throughout the exhibition days to sign the works and publications of the award winners in the field of educational Authorship for children.
