The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education- one of the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy institutions, declared the beginning of the judging process for the works of the candidates for the 18th session 2025, through specialized committees covering the fields and categories to which these works were submitted, whether at the local, regional or international level.
The Award offers ten fields in this session distributed over 17 categories, including the field of the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning, which is considered the first of its kind in the world. The latter field aims to shed light on the best scientific and applied practices adopted by prestigious academic and research institutions worldwide, creating a stimulating environment for creativity and innovation for early childhood.
His Excellency Humaid Al-Houti, Secretary-General of the Award, stressed the appreciation of the General Secretariat of the Award for the wide participation it received during this session from candidates from all over the world, as their numbers were distributed over more than 48 reflecting the prestigious status enjoyed by the Award at all local, regional and international levels.
Al-Houti explained that the arbitration process is carried out while adapting to the state-of -the art standards and practices regarding transparency and objectivity on which the arbitration committees rely in evaluating the nominated works, which ensures the consolidation of the message of the Award not only as a prominent platform for spreading the culture of excellence in the educational field, but also as a platform that celebrates initiatives and projects that enrich the educational field at all its academic levels, including all the various fields that it encompasses.
Humaid Al-Houti declared that the arbitration process continues until March 24th according to the time plan for the current session. This process is administered through a precise mechanism in which specialized working committees participate, including a carefully hand-picked group of experts and academics who are masters in their specialization.
