The Khalifa Award for Education is one amongst the most distinguished awards in the Arab world. It has made remarkable achievements that push it to the forefront of specialized educational awards in the region and the world. The Award reflects the importance that our wise leadership attaches to education and the mission performed by the sector workers. It also reflects the hopes placed on it as a cornerstone of the human development process and the pillar of economic and social development in the country.
The Award’s interest in supporting the creativity of people of determination in its various sessions by dedicating a separate area in its various sessions undoubtedly opens the door for various elements of the educational process and relevant institutions to compete for excellence in caring for people of determination, supports pioneering initiatives and distinguished projects that serve people of determination in various sectors, and enhances community awareness of their role and mission in serving the nation.
I would like to commend the keenness of the Award and those in charge of it to constantly develop and provide its goals and fields with everything that supports education, its role and its future in the UAE and the Arab world in particular. The honouring categories extended to include educational development efforts inside and outside the UAE and support vision, thought and efforts to preserve national identity through the promotion of linguistic identity and interest in modern technologies and others.
