Amal Al Afeefi: Specialized committees to evaluate nominated submissions accurately and objectively
The General Secretariat of Khalifa Award began sorting out processes of nominees applications presented by individuals and establishments for its 12 cycle 2018-2019the sorting out process will continue since current January in preparation for announcing the final results and the successful names on April the coming.
Amal Alafifi Secretary-General of the Award confirmed the appreciation of the General Secretary of the Award for the notable participation of the establishments and individuals in the educational field locally and in the Arab level who participated actively in the present session and presented pioneering initiatives and projects within the framework of the Award and the displayed fields for the current session which consists of the following fields: general education ( the creative teacher category, the promising teacher category, educational performance institutional category, people of determination , individuals category, establishment and centers, creativity in teaching Arabic, education and community service, in local and Arab level, educational corporate personality, general education (creative teacher category) high education creativity in teaching Arabic, university professor category, teacher category, educational research category, child literature research category educational authorship for children, educational creativities category, education projects and programs consisting of three categories, namely, individuals, establishments and students.
AL Afeefi referred to a number of specialized committees that undertakes the sorting out process of the nominated applications and works according to specified criteria for each of the categories which comes under these fields emphasizing at the same time that employing of a smart electronic services during this session by Khalifa Award contributed in saving time and effort for the nominees and also for the specialized committees in sorting out applications which upgraded accuracy transparency in dealing with the nominated works for this current session.
She clarified that as soon as completing sorting out the applications, the arbitration process will be initiated by specialized committees each in his field of specialization, this process consists of an evaluation of the nominated works and field visits to individuals and establishments which the arbitration committees feel that there is a need to carry out such visits to acquaints with such displayed works and projects nominated for current session.
