The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education announced the end of accepting applications for candidates for the eighteenth session 2024-2025 at all local, regional and international levels for the its respective ten fields which are distributed over 17 categories in which competition is held at the local and Arab levels for all targeted candidates in higher education institutions and research centers, as well as institutes, schools and community institutions related to educational affairs and the fields offered under the Award.

The General Secretariat of the Award also announced the end of accepting applications for candidates in the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning field, which targets candidates from research centers, prestigious international universities and early childhood education institutions worldwide.

Humaid Al-Houti, Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education, stressed the appreciation of the General Secretariat of the Award for the wide participation of candidates from various subdivisions of the educational and academic field at all local, regional and international levels, noting that the General Secretariat of the Award and the specialized work teams made great efforts during the current session to expand the base of awareness of the Award and the fields presented in it in various scientific and educational forums, which had the greatest impact in receiving these numbers of candidates who submitted nomination files that reflect the status of the Award and its leadership in the educational and pedagogical field as one of the best educational awards specialized in spreading the culture of excellence, motivating those working in the field to launch projects and initiatives, as well as directing their distinguished efforts to serve the community, enhance sustainability, nurture talents and enable them to continue the journey of creativity, innovation and excellence.

Al-Houti declared: The current session was launched last July, and since then, the work teams from the General Secretariat of the Award and the Executive Committee, as well as the coordinators and judges, have all participated in implementing introductory programs and practical workshops to deliver the Award’s message and objectives in spreading excellence. The General Secretariat of the Award also made a number of foreign visits to the Kingdom of Morocco, the State of Kuwait, and the State of Qatar, where delegations from the General Secretariat of the Award met with a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers of Higher Education and Education, educational and academic leaders, members of administrative and teaching bodies, and community figures, within the framework of intensifying cooperation and introducing the message and objectives of the Award. The Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education appreciated the efforts of the strategic partners who made significant contributions and supported the Award’s progress during the eighteenth session, noting that according to the timetable for the current session, the application sorting phase will start from January 1st until February 8th, after which the judging and evaluation phase of the nominated works that passed the sorting process and met the required standards for each of the proposed fields will begin. The judging process will end on March 24th, after which the results of the current session will be announced next April.
