The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education emphasized the importance of teachers’ message and role in society as a cornerstone in human development and providing them with the skills and sciences that allow them to participate consciously, effectively, and positively in the national development process. Teachers undoubtedly play an important role in promoting the values that define cultural heritage and national identity, as well as contributing to community togetherness, boosting effectiveness in the development process, and ensuring the long-term viability of honest giving.
While indicating that United Arab Emirates leadership caters a lot of care and attention from the towards providing teachers with an environment that stimulates creativity, innovation and excellence in performing his message as a builders of generations, the General Secretariat of the Award stressed that this feeds proud of their national identity and proud of their cultural heritage and gains in all fields of development and knowledge.
Amal Al-Afeefi, Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education, said, “Celebrating World Teachers’ Day is an important occasion in which the world highlights the efforts of teachers, their part in building the human being, advancing societies and completely eliminating illiteracy by spreading knowledge and science.
