Amal Al Afifi: The Award constituted a quality move in the education process and motivated creativity and innovation.
Abu Dhabi : Thursday 28/03/2019 highness Mansur Bin Zayed AlNahyan deputy prime minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs head of board of trustees of Khalifa Award for Education approved the names of the winners of the Award for the 12 sessions 2018- 2019 within UAE and on Arab countries level , he also approved the granting of the Award to the Educational personality for this session Sheikha Azza bint Abdullah Alnaiimi , Director General of Humaid Bin Rashid Alnuaiimi , Establishment for Charity in appreciation of her efforts to support the educational system and develop the march of this essential sector.
Sheikh Mansur Bin Zayed Al Nahyan also approved the granting of the Award to distinguished UAE families in which 4 UAE families won the Award in recognition for their efforts to support the education process.
His Highness will attend the ceremony of honoring the winners for the present session on Monday 15/04/2019.
Amal Al Afeefi, the Secretary-General of Khalifa Award for education confirmed the feeling of proudness and dignity by the Award to bear a name which is dear to our hearts all and it is the name of its sponsor, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan the UAE president may Allah preserve him who gives most of his interest and care to this essential Sector which concerns the building of generations and to invest in human beings the most precious wealth of the state.
Al Afeefi praised the support given to education sector in the state by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Almakum vice president, prime minister and ruler of Dubai and His Highness Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of Armed forces and their Highness members of the federal supreme council UAE rulers.
The Secretary-General of the Award referred that the Khalifa Award since its inception in 2007 constituted quality move towards publication of the culture of distinction in the educational field motivating those who are working in schools institutes and high educational establishments to creativity, innovation opening projects and presenting pioneering initiatives that – uplift the education process locally and on Arab states level.
At this point, the Award complied with the best international practices in presenting areas supporting the cultural distinction in its different sessions. Locally and regionally along with the diversified areas from session to another in order to keep pace with the developing knowledge and technology in the state level and worldwide level.
Talking about the 12 sessions of the Award Amal Alafifi clarified that this session witnessed great efforts exerted by the Secretariat General of the Award and of the Award and the technical and specialized committees which presented practical workshops and programs to upgrade distinction culture and to encourage candidates to involve in these sessions.
