Khaward participates in the NAEYC annual conference at orlando FL

The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education, an institution under the Erth Zayed Philanthropies, participated in the National Association of Education for Young Children’s (NAEYC) International Annual Conference, organized by the Florida Association for the Education of Young Children (FAEYC) in Orlando, Florida, USA, from November 19 to 22. The Award’s participation aims to raise awareness of the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning, which seeks to highlight best global practices adopted by institutions, research centers, higher education institutions, and community organizations involved in early childhood education.

Humaid Al Houti, Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education, emphasized the importance of participation in this international conference, held under the theme ” In This Place, We Learn. For Every Child, We Lead.” This theme reflects the growing global interest in early childhood education. The conference is one of the largest international gatherings of early childhood education professionals, offering a platform for participants to learn from various experiences, exchange ideas, and establish professional networks. It brings together thousands of specialists and stakeholders, including teachers, program directors, researchers, and policy managers, making it a global platform to highlight the tireless efforts of various countries worldwide to advance this age group.

Al Houti added that the Khalifa International Award for Early Learning field is a pioneering national initiative of the United Arab Emirates. The launch of this award reflects the attention given to early childhood education by the wise leadership. The UAE has presented a leading model in nurturing and empowering this group through a comprehensive system of legislation and laws that guarantee their healthy, social, and cultural development. Al-Houti added that participation in this conference provides an opportunity to highlight the efforts and leadership of the United Arab Emirates in investing in human development, particularly in early childhood. The conference features more than 500 specialized scientific sessions presented by experts from around the world, in addition to an accompanying exhibition showcasing 200 specialized companies that highlight the latest scientific and technological advancements, creating an environment conducive to the healthy socialization of early childhood.
