The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Award for Education- one of the many institutions of Zayed’s Humanitarian Legacy – has begun field evaluation visits conducted by the Award’s specialized arbitration teams, to review the works nominated for the eighteenth session 2025 in the various fields and categories offered currently. These field visits are crucial to evaluate these works and review their positive impact on the ground, as they examine their role in supporting the education system’s progress at the local level, according to the excellence standards set by the Award.

Humaid Al-Houti, Secretary-General of the Award, emphasized the significance of this phase, wherein experts and specialists from diverse educational and academic sectors pertinent to the topics discussed in the current session engage, as specialized committees to undertake field visits to assess these initiatives, analyse the outcomes of their execution, and evaluate their contributions to the progression of the education sector, aligning with contemporary developments and anticipating future needs.

Al-Houti explained that in the process of judging and evaluating the candidates’ works, this stage is an essential component that determines the positive results achieved in terms of the learning environment and the extent to which the elements of the educational process benefit from them. The student, the primary cornerstone of the educational process, is the focus of all development initiatives directed toward enhancing the quality of the educational environment and its impact on ensuring the quality of academic outcomes. The Secretary-General expressed his gratitude for the contributions of all arbitration committees and teams, which have contributed to the award’s elevated status and its position at the vanguard of specialized educational awards at the regional and international levels.
