Humaid Ibrahim Al-Houti, Secretary-General of the Khalifa Award for Education, confirmed the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may God protect him, regarding the designation of 2025 as the “Year of Society,” embody a creative vision of the wise leadership and its care for the authentic Emirati values system. These values are being reinforced and instilled in the youth and future generations. Al-Houti pointed out further that the development and progress that the UAE has witnessed in all areas of national development has never overlooked the standing of rooting the social values that have historically been the key to the UAE’s leadership and distinction on local, regional, and international levels.
The Secretary-General of the Khalifa for Education also noted that the education sector, with its significant message and role, is one of the fundamental pillars in shaping societal awareness and strengthening the status of values across its various segments. Therefore, the Khalifa Award for Education has dedicated a category within its fields to honor families who have made significant contributions to raising their children, supporting their educational journey, and encouraging them to achieve excellence in various scientific and educational fields. The “Distinguished Emirati Family” category has seen considerable interest from all segments of society for nomination and awards, reflecting the Emirati family’s commitment to its role and mission in building generations proud of their national identity.
