Education and Community Service
The award’s focus on this area stems from the “Education is Everyone’s Responsibility” initiative. Community service initiatives and projects are key characteristics of outstanding educational systems. Programs and projects submitted for the Education and Community Service Field are accredited based on the results of applying a set of scientific tools built on clear scientific criteria and specific performance indicators. A special criterion for technology and artificial intelligence has been introduced, reflecting the principles outlined in the UAE’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy.
Target Category:
- Institutions Category: Public and private schools or equivalent establishments and institutions supporting education and community service in all fields.
- Distinguished Emirati Family Category
Conditions for Nomination in the Education and Community Service Field – Institutions Category
- The initiative or project must be recent and have been implemented for more than two years to ensure sufficient time to observe its
results. - If the candidate is a team or an entity, the team leader’s name should be the one used on the E- Candidature Application.
- The required data pertaining to the team leader must be filled in on the E-Candidature system, including the number of team
members, which should not exceed 8, including the team leader. - Only one entity may participate in the submitted initiative or project; representation is for one entity.
- The nominated initiative or project should not be part of the institution’s core business but should be a value added to the community service.
- Presentation of a Formal Letter issued by the project’s authority – the entity that applied the concept/ project, including the
application’s duration, the project’s effectiveness, and the feasibility of goals and future insights

Distinguished Emirati Family Category
This award will be granted to the family that demonstrates a clear interaction with its children, instills a strong national identity in them, and collaborates with various community institutions to promote positive human, cultural, and educational values in the children. The family takes keen care in following up on their children’s studies and in involving them in activities and extracurricular programs that help build character in all aspects of life.
Target Category:
The Emirati family resides in the UAE, and their children are enrolled in educational institutions within the UAE.
Conditions for the Education and Community Service Field Nomination– The Distinguished Emirati Family Category
- The application on the E-Candidature System must be made in the father’s name.
- The applying family must hold an Emirati citizenship.
- The nominated family shall have made outstanding contributions and initiatives to support their children educationally.
- The nominated family shall have children still enrolled in school when submitting the nomination.
- A Nomination Letter shall be submitted for each school child of the distinguished Emirati family via the Ministry of Education, the Educational Councils, or other related educational institutions in the United Arab Emirates. (The enclosed form to be filled in the E-Candidature System & validated by the Children’s schools>)

- Scholastic and Extra Curricula Excellence in learning attainment (students)
- Fields of continuous development and growth
- Excellence in the field of school and community activities (family and student)
- Family interaction, experiences, and communication with the educational institution
- Future planning in conformance to the higher strategic instructions of the United Arab Emirates
- Employing technology & Artificial Intelligence
