<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Khalifa Award for Education organized a scientific lecture on the occasion of the Emirates month for innovation under the title \u201cInnovation in Emirati School\u201c during which Dr. Aamina Adahak Alshamisi assistant under Secretary for care and activities Sector at the Ministry of Education has spoken about innovation considering it a basic pillar in the Emirati School referring to the fact of opening wide horizons by the school in front of the student to innovate, create and employ artificial intelligence techniques and fourth industrial revolution in his practical and academic life .<\/p>\n
The lecture was attended by Amal Alafifi Secretary-General of Khalifa Award, Mohamed Salim Aldahiri member of the board of trustees of the Award consultant to the head of the department of education and knowledge and a number of members of the executive committee of the Award and education and academic leaders.<\/p>\n
At the beginning of the lecture Amal Alafifi Said that the mission of Khalifa Award is manifested in publishing the culture of distinction and innovation in the education field both in university level and pre-university level, the Khalifa Award presents a field of projects and innovative educational programs in the State and Arab level this field attains considerable engagement from educational and academic cadres locally and internationally.<\/p>\n
From her side, during her lecture, Dr. Aamina Adahak Alshamisi shed the light on education in the eyes of our wise leadership and their tangible role in upgrading all initiatives and programs which the ministry organizes to boost the skills and abilities of teachers and students. Therefore, the importance of innovation emerged within the strategic motivation of the ministry and its vision and mission.<\/p>\n
She has spoken about the system of Emirati School by being a complete development package consisting all aspects of general education system including the education ladder and learning channels, curriculums, evaluation, teaching, smart learning, out of the class activities and quality and control. She clarified the role played by Emirati School in continuing \u00a0to create a drastic change in the elements and form of education in the state and depending \u00a0upon developed modern and scientific curriculums aiming at giving high skills of thinking to the student , in addition to supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching , learning and evaluation process and ensuring standard learning and teaching norms with international level , she also highlighted\u00a0 the role of the school in developing the abilities of graduates to compete in labor market both the private and the public sector and to keep a \u00a0pace in international labor market .<\/p>\n

Dr. Aamina Adahak Alshamisi reviewed the merits of the graduate of Emirates School and the rapid efforts, the ministry is exerting to upgrade these merits to enable the graduate to coexist with the speedy and steady global scientific and technological changes relating to the industrial revolution and the fourth educational revolution. She emphasized the role of the ministry in developing a well-planned mechanism to specify the clear skills and merits of the graduate of Emirates school and also developing a system for measuring and upgrading the skills and merits of students. She also reviewed the channels and the role of the ministry in developing curriculums which boost skills of learning and innovation in the Emirates School and ensure the quality of the curriculums.<\/p>\n
She explained the mechanism followed by the ministry in developing curriculums through three channels consisting of creating study materials and confirming with international series of books and compiling of study materials.<\/p>\n
The lecture comprised of an explanation of the system of taking care and developing students skills and upgrading their innovation abilities, she also explained the important initiatives made by the ministry in that connection as well as initiatives supporting the infrastructure for the sake of innovation and scientific research.<\/p>\n
Dr. Aamina Alshamisi shed a light on the national strategy of high education and that innovation axis is one of the four main pillars of it.<\/p>\n
She mentioned the initiatives of high\u00a0 education in the field of innovation like \u201d \u00a0the trend of innovation, pioneering works\u00a0 in universities \u201c and Science and technology parks and centers for innovation \u201c she also shed a light on the role of ministry in developing policies relating to innovative education system (innovation\u00a0 and teaching innovation)\u00a0 and the policy pertaining to scientific research and the policy regarding exploiting and taking care of the talented .<\/p>\n
She concluded the lecture by talking about the future efforts of the ministry in the field of pioneering and creativity in education.<\/p>\n
Lastly, Amal Alafifi and Dr. Mohamed Salim Aldahiri honored the lecturer Dr. Aamina Adahak\u00a0\u00a0 Alshamisi in appreciation of her efforts in supporting the March of the Khalifa Award.<\/p>\n
